Its objective is to increase the income of the farmers.
The project is being implemented by the National Center for Crop Forecasting using remote sensing technology.
It includes Crop Intensification, Orchard Rejuvenation Geospatial studies like Orchard Rejuvenation and Aqua Horticulture are used so that reliable estimates of crop production can be obtained.
This process was prepared for seven important horticultural crops and it will be implemented in all the states.
This project will help the farmers to cultivate horticulture crops in a profitable manner which will double their income.
