Government's strategy and important efforts to end Left Wing Extremism
Left Wing Extremism, which has emerged as the biggest challenge to the process of internal security and nation-building, the Government has adopted an all-pronged strategy to end it – security-related interventions, development, providing rights to the largely affected tribal population, and public concept management etc.Along with the deployment of Central Armed Police Forces, Indian Reserve Battalions and 'Cobra' battalions in the affected states from the point of view of security, the security-related expenditure plan is being operated by the Central Government. The security related has also been approved by the government in the year2017 as a component of the umbrella scheme “Modernization of Police Force” for a period of 03 years till the year 2020.Also, the government is building secure police stations 400 Fortified police Stations were sanctioned by the Ministry of Home Affairs in 10 Left Wing Extremism affected states, most of which have been completed.In addition, there is an emphasis on capacity building of states through significant road construction, community policing and village policing.Defense committees, greyhound force etc. have also been constituted.Asper the surrender and rehabilitation policy, a special fund has been arranged for the surrendered Naxalites.“
Many socio-economic programs have been launched for inclusive development, such as Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, National Rural health Mission, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, MNREGA, National Rural Drinking water Scheme etc.

Government efforts to prevent LWE Solution (SAMADHAN) principle is a measure to prevent left wing extremism. It includes all the short term and longterm strategies formulated by the government at various levels to deal with LWE. The full form of SAMADHAN is as follows:-

The National Strategy to Combat LWE to Counter LWE was adopted in the year 2015 as a multi-pronged approach to combat LWE. The main objective of this strategy was to ensure protection of rights of the local administration and local tribals.
In addition, state dialogue meetings are also organized for better inter-state cooperation at various levels. Large Area Based Multipurpose Government Societies (LAMPS) and Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) have been revived and restructured by the government to meet all the credit related requirements of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and weakersections.The 'Civil Action Program' is being implemented to provide financial assistance to the Central Armed Police Forces for the formation of'Integrated Squad' and conducting civil action in the states most affected by Naxalism - Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Bihar And Odisha. Civil Action Program has also been included in the year2017 as a component of the umbrella scheme “Modernization of Police Force” by the Government for a period of 3 years from2017-18 to 2019-20. NITI Aayog's 'Integrated Action Plan' is noteworthy for the provision of public infrastructure. Implementation of Panchayat Act called PESA, 1996 and Traditional Vanvasi Act and implementation of 'Backward Area Grant Fund'The rights of local communities have been increased by 118 battalions of the Central Armed Police Forces have been deployed in the states.

Out of these 115 backward districts, about 35 districts are affected by left wing violence. While reducing the sources of money of Naxalites, eliminating itis also a very important task.Promotion of cottage industries will also boost the pace of development here.
