Efforts made by the United Nations to end terrorism
In the grip of international terrorism today not only one country or region but the whole 7. It is affecting the world community itself. That's why the whole world is fighting a battle against it.Today it has become a major international problem. To some extent, everyone is to blame for this problem, so everyone will have to find a solution to this problem together. The United Nations and many other important international organizations are trying to find a solution to this problem.
The United Nations has made many efforts in this area, the main ones being the following.
(1) At its 2114th General Meeting on December 8, 1972, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted a resolution which read, "International terrorism,which kills and threatens innocent people, or is used for the enjoyment of fundamental freedoms". This resolution initiated the efforts of the United Nations to prevent international terrorism.
(2) On 9 December 1994, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted a Declaration on Efforts to End Terrorism and called on all countries to cooperate in solidarity in the fight against terrorism.
(3) The General Assembly, by are solution on December 1998, declared the member countries to be free from terrorism.To understand the need to enact strict laws against them in their respective states.

5) On 9 December 1999, the General Assembly passed a resolution 54/109. in which Issued the draft of an International Convention for the Suppression of the Finance of Terrorism to stop the funding of terrorism.
A good initiative was made by this agreement to prevent the spread of international terrorism and the activities of terrorists. Other international agreements were also included in this agreement. Many other international organizations like NAM, SAARC, G-5, G-15 have helped in creating world public opinion against it by holding talks on the subject of international terrorism.As a result of all these efforts, the whole world is paying more and more attention against the problem of international terrorism. All the states are also making efforts in this regard at different levels.are doing. Today the problem of terrorism is on the priority list of the world community.There is no need for any kind of narrow-mindedness or politics in this. Because terrorist psychology is not useful to anyone.Many efforts have been made by the United Nations Organization, but so far they do not have any visible effect. The main reason for this is that America, Britain and other powerful nations are adopting double standards in fighting terrorism. While America attacks Afghanistan and Iraq on the one hand, it considers Pakistan as its allies. All civilized nations of the world should cooperate fully with the United Nations to fight international terrorism, only then the world can be kept free from this evil.
