Relationship between India-African Countries
• Africa is extremely rich in terms of mineral resources. India can bea good partner in developing the infrastructure of African countries,providing education, health, finance and investment facilities, agriculture,industrial manufacturing and development of digital facilities.
• Simultaneously, people of Indian origin are residing in various countries across the continent of Africa, which make the relations between India and African countries closer.
• India also needs a permanent membership of the UN Security Council and the support of African countries in the WTO.
• During the India-Africa summit in the year 2015, the Indian Prime Minister had offered loans to African countries at low interest rates, withthe help of which infrastructure, electricity, roads, industrial parks, agriculture etc. are being developed in African countries.

• The Vice President said that India-Africa ties in the field of defense and security have gained momentum and many countries see India as a natural ally for training and meeting other defense related needs.

• There are immense opportunities for trade and investment in India and African countries. Africa is home to one-third of the world's population, the majority of which are young people.
