ND, The Green Peace, Environmentalists etc.are playing an active role as non-state actors. In this category, we can also include regional organizations and economic groups to some extent. Similarly working at international level International agencies can also be called non-state actors. Then in today's international relations, many national corporations, whose number is very high, also come in the category of non-state actors. The number of non-state actors is increasing day by day.According to a limited estimate, 113th of all international activity takes place only between non-state actors and more than 50 percent of all international activity takes place between non-state actors and nation-states. The study of contemporary international relations cannot be complete and realistic without the study of the role of non-state actors in international relations and their relations with nation-states.From the beginning of the twentieth century, the number of international non-governmental organizations began to increase. In 1901 this number was about 180, then around 1975 2500,till date their number is more than 15000 because today many multinational companies are playing a very important and active role in international relations, especially in international economic relations. Alongwith national interests, now the protection of international interests has also been considered as a big objective. For this, many non-governmental international organizations and forums or movements have become active. With the advancement of transport and communication, relations with people have increased. This has also increased the number and role of non-state actors.Due to the requirements of international trade and import-export, there has been an unprecedented increase in the number of multinational and transnational companies. These companies are established jointly by the industrialists and capitalists of some countries. Each company was registered in one country. But its units and sub-companies are in many countries.Along with this, today a big company of a country establishes its offices and units, production units, market units etc. Both these developments have led to a great and rapid increase in the number and role of multinational and transnational corporations or companies in the international community, which have emerged as the major non-state actors influencing international politics.Along with these transnational trade unions like International Metal Workers Association,International Federation of Airline Pilots Association, International Federation of Chemical and General Workers Association etc. are also functioning as non-state international actors today. In this category, we are playing a very active role in world politics today by international labor organizations like The Word Federation of trade Unions, Word Confederation of Labour, International Organization for Standardization, International Chamber of Commerce, International Corporation Alliance etc. These too we are playing a very active role in trans-national corporation world politics today. We can also call these as Trans-national Corporations. Some religious organizations are also working in international politics today, such as Christian Church, Roman Catholic Church, OIC Word Congress of Religions etc. Organizations and organizations are also becoming more and more active at the world level today. Then in today's era, many non-governmental and non-state activists are doing a lot of work on the world level in the areas of human rights and environment protection, achieving nuclear disarmament, world welfare, human welfare, social service etc. In this category we come across organizations and organizations like Amnesty International, Planet Protection Movement, Green Peace Human Rights Commission, International League of Rights of Man, Red Cross, Green Cross, Blue Cross etc. Along with this, established for the purpose of spreading and developing science and education.
