Naxalism Problem In India
In the 75 years of independence, many serious challenges have arisen regarding the internal security of the country. Out of these, Left Wing Extremism (Naxalism) as the biggest challenge for along time remained a Cancer for the country. These are people belonging to the Left ideology who do not believe in democracy and democratic values. The constitution doesn't matter to them. He thinks that the rights of the poor, downtrodden and backward of the society can be achieved only with the use of a gun. System scan be changed only by armed and violent means. They and their thinking are wrong. Its hall mark is seen in the contraction in red corridors around the world. The marked reduction in the expansion of the Red Corridor in India in the last decade suggests that the government's efforts to give a befitting reply to Naxalism and bring people associated with them into the main stream of society and democracy are paying off. The government's actions of saam, daam, dand and bhed against the naxalites, who slowdown to democracy at gun point and hold development in backward areas hostage, have narrowed their scope. However, it is not right to sit with satisfaction for so long. There is still a big challenge to end this ideology which has become a canker for democracy and to include those people in the mainstream of the society in a democratic way. In such a situation, the investigation of this challenge is a big issue for all of.
"No gun on shoulder, solution on shoulder is the solution to the problem of Naxalism. People engaged in violence are also beginning to understand this. Those who are apprehensive that this violence will stop or not, I assure them that it will be stopped."
