The participation of the local administration Panchayats and Gram Sabhas should be ensured in the implementation of land reform laws. Efforts should be made to remove the short comings inthe existing land reform laws.A model central law related to land reforms and land acquisition should be made by the central government, which can be used by the states as a guide while making their laws. In totality, every effort should be made for optimum use of land, so that new direction can be given to land reform in India.
