Integrated Border Management System
This is a new strategy of the Government of India to deal with terrorists infiltrating from Pakistan. Under this, 2900 km of India-Pakistan. The security of the long border will be made impenetrable by smart fencing. 24×7×365 continuous surveillance of the western border with Pakistan will be done through technology.
Its aim isto get protection from infiltration, smuggling and terror attacks like Pathankot. A five-tier security arrangement will be made under this scheme.
