Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat Government Scheme:-
- Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat program was launched by the Prime Minister on 31st October, 2016 to promote people-to-people contacts of different States/Union Territories so as to enhance mutual understanding and relations between people of diverse cultures and ensured the strong unity and integrity of India through can be done.
- Under this scheme, two states will work together for one year
- Under this scheme, two states will co operate with each other for one year and will establish excellent partnership in cultural elements and exchange of students.
- The main objective of this scheme is to strengthen national integration and to make people widely aware of the diversity of the country and each other's states. The idea behind this scheme is that every year a state will join any other state in India.
- Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Yojana was brought by the government to spread widely about the diversity of the country.
