Bangladesh has also been indulging in anti-India acts from time to time. Here India-Pakistan relations are being discussed.
India Pakistan Relations
There were certain reasons behind the strained relationship between the two in the early years of birth. During the freedom struggle, Mr. Jinnah, the leader of the Muslim League, propounded the principle of two nations, under which he demanded the establishment of two separate states for Hindus and Muslims, but the Congress opposed the two-nation theory from the very beginning. As a result of communal riots in 1946-47, the situation got so bad that the Congress was forced to accept the demand for the establishment of Pakistan. The establishment of Pakistan only encouraged the feeling of animosity towards each other among Hindus and Muslims. The problem of Indian princely states also increased the tension between the two countries. On the one hand, Pakistan could not accept the merger of Hyderabad and Junagadh in India, on the other hand, it invaded Kashmir in 1947 for the purpose of capturing Kashmir. The problem of Kashmir has become so entangled in the hustle and bustle of world politics that it has not been resolved till date and has become a subject of constant dispute between the two.The military dictatorship established there is also one of the main factors of tension in Indo-Pak relations.Apart from this, the Bangladesh dispute is also responsible for the bitterness in the relations between the two countries. From Nehru to Manmohan Singh till now, all the Prime Ministers who have been there have always tried to improve relations with Pakistan. On the other hand, every effort of India was attacked by Pakistan from time to time.General Musharraf and bilateral relations - Nawaz Sharif's elected democratic government Musharraf took power in October 1999 by ousting him. Like the world community, India also supported democracy in Pakistan. The change in government was an internal matter of Pakistan, but India insisted on the formation of an elected government representing the people in Pakistan. And he adopted the policy of waiting until this happened.Agra Summit- On July 15-16, 2001, the much talked-about Agra summit between Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf ended without reaching an agreement. India did not get any benefit from this unsuccessful negotiations, while the President of Pakistan, General Pervez Musharf, did so much benefit that by coming to power through the back door, he got the legitimacy of the international fraternity which he was eager to get. In August 2008, Asif Ali Zardari was elected President after President Musharraf resigned. And under the leadership of the new Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, efforts were on to improve relations between the two countries. That is when the terrorist attack in Mumbai has brought laxity again in the relationship between the two countries. Because Pakistan's hand in these attacks was solid and Sufficient evidence has been found. There are serious differences between India and Pakistan on Jammu and Kashmir problem, Afghanistan and terrorism. These differences have gone to the extent of traditional hostility. Out of these, the Jammu and Kashmir problem has become the neck bone of these two neighboring countries. While on the one hand India considers Kashmir as its integral part, Pakistan talks about the liberation of Occupied Kashmir, on the other hand Pakistan considers the merger of Jammu and Kashmir with India as illegal. Pakistan is trying to internationalize the Jammu and Kashmir problem. He has continued terrorist activities for the last 12-15 years in this troubled province.
have been kept. There are authentic information that there are many terrorist training centers in Pakistan. As a result of Pakistan induced terrorism, India has suffered huge loss of public and money for the last several years. After the US action to liberate Afghanistan from terrorists,Pakistan has become a source of terrorist activities. After the US counter-terrorism action in Afghanistan, Pakistan has become a new refuge for terrorism. The inspiration of Pakistan in terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir is verifiable. This is the biggest obstacle in Indo-Pak relations.
India's Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan Elections - Indian States in the Past Years| The free and fair elections held in Jammu and Kashmir and the subsequent state government formed under the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has once again expressed the democratic nature and fervent desire of the people of this terrorism-affected state to develop. Due to which Pakistani propaganda has to face once again in the world. In contrast, the stunts in the Pakistani elections and the democratic existence of the Jamali government, the puppet of Musharraf, formed under the leadership of Jamali, is well known. of both these events. As a result, the sudden spurt in terrorist incidents in J&K automatically proves the saga of Pak-inspired terrorism., In this episode, after Pakistan's hand in the terrorist attack on the Indian Parliament on December 13, 2001, India had strengthened the possibility of war by breaking all diplomatic ties with Pakistan. On the request of the US and the international community,India gave an ultimatum to Pakistan and asked to take strict and effective steps to stop terrorism and infiltration immediately and asked not to hold any talks with Pakistan till then. Pakistan does not take any concrete initiative in this regard. Bowing to international pressure on January 12, Musharraf, in a message to his nation, announced aban on Jaish-e-Muhammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba, responsible for the attack on the Indian Parliament, and called terrorism to any organization in the name of Kashmir.Spread will not be allowed. Along with this, he was seen chanting the old raga in Kashmir relation. Recently, the two countries again appointed their respective diplomats, restoring political and cultural contacts. Once again trying to restore the relations between the two countries. Intellectuals of both the countries visited each other's country and for this Goodwill visit. Under this, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the radical leader of Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam,visited India on July 2003. More recently, five preliminary measures have been prescribed to restore relations between the two countries. In which the first is to restore full diplomatic relations between the two countries, the second Delhi Lahore bus service is resumed, the third air connectivity • Restoration, the fourth sports relationship is restored, the fifth and the last Samjhauta Express run again etc. UPA alliance established under the leadership of Congress. Under the Manmohan Singh government, efforts were made to improve bilateral issues including Kashmir with Pakistan. The round of secretary and ministerial talks on the direction of improving the relations between the two countries continued. But the terrorism sponsored by Pakistan could not be curbed. The terrorist incident in Mumbai last year is ample proof of this. From international and regional forums, India has been continuously demanding action against terrorist organizations by the Government of Pakistan. But none by Pakistan yet. There was no positive move. In the year 2014, the NDA alliance led by BJP.Under the clear mandate, the Modi government is striving to improve the relations between the two countries.
