India-Palestine Relations
Formal relations between India and Palestine beganin 1974, when India, as the first non-Arab state, recognized the Palestine Liberation Organization as the solestatutory representative of the Palestinian people. India was also among the few nations that recognized Palestine as a separate nation in 1988.
India also established a representative office in Gaza in 1996 which was later moved to Ramallah.India has always acknowledged this fact in the Israel and Palestine dispute.Supported that Palestine should be based on the principle of self-determination Right to build a nation. In addition, India, Palestine in health, information technology, tourism, youth affairs, sports, agriculture and education,Capacity building of the people of Palestine in infrastructure development etc.is also playing an important role in Recently India to have close relations with Israel Despite recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel brought to the United Nations General Assembly against the US resolution of Voted in support of the motion.
Thus India made Palestine and extend their diplomatic relations with both Israel independent and exclusive.
