Dialogue at Shangri-La
• Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD) is a 'track one' inter-governmental security forum organized annually by the International Institute for Strategic Studies. (IISS), an independent think tank.
• It is attended by defense ministers, permanent heads of ministries and military chiefs of 28 Asia-Pacific states. The forum is named after the Shangri-La Hotel located in Singapore where it was first held in the year 2002.
